Our Seasonal Plan is designed with our part-time residents in mind, creating a simple and convenient way to put your Internet, TV and/or Phone services on pause when you leave and easily re-activate your services when you are ready to come back - without an appointment.

Keep your equipment, email address, and phone number. Your security system, cameras or thermostat will remain active with the plan's maintained Internet and Phone services so you can feel secure while you are away.

Just provide us with your departure and return dates and we'll do the rest! Once registered, this program does not require an installation, a tech visit, or even a phone call. When you return to your home, your Atlantic Broadband services will be working the same as when you left.

FAQs

Available for any homeowner who will be away from their residence for a minimum of 30 consecutive days. Your home must be unoccupied while you are away. You can sign up for a minimum of 1 month and maximum of 9 months in a 12 month time frame.

For your convenience, we can enroll you in our recurring payment option or you can pay your bill monthly online by going to atlanticbb.com and selecting "Pay your bill online". If you prefer, we can also mail your bill to you at your part-time residence. For assistance with these options, give us a call at 855-660-9870 or register via the online form above.

All the benefits of the Seasonal Plan costs $15 per month. There are no additional plan fees or surcharges but there may be government taxes and fees that vary by region.

You will provide Atlantic Broadband with an active billing address while you are taking advantage of the Seasonal Plan. Your active billing address will help us stay in contact with you to ensure that your service is restored upon your return date.

Yes, Atlantic Broadband offers automatic, recurring bill payment by credit card, debit card or check (via Electronic Funds Transfer). This option allows a fast and convenient way to pay your bill and it's free. Here's how it works: On the statement due date, your payment will be automatically withdrawn from the checking account, savings account, or credit card of your choice. You can enroll in Atlantic Broadband's automatic bill pay service by accessing atlanticbb.com and selecting "Bill Pay”.

Promotional prices will remain as long as they do not expire during the time that you are on the Seasonal Plan. The expiration date for the promotion remains the same and will not be extended while you are on the Plan.

No. This is one of the great benefits of the Seasonal Plan. Enjoy this convenient, no-waiting, hassle-free option of having your services reactivated before you return at no additional charge to you. And when you take advantage of the plan, you can keep your equipment in your home while you're away. There is no need to contact us when you return, another great convenience of the plan.

Yes! Customers with Internet will maintain Internet speeds at 5 Mbps and customers with Phone will maintain connection to emergency and alarm system functions. This will allow you to stay connected to your home and keep your security systems active while you are away.

If your return date changes after your request has been processed, please call Atlantic Broadband Customer Service and provide us with your new return date. To ensure we meet your needs, Atlantic Broadband must receive 14 days’ notice, prior to original or new return date, whichever is earliest.

It can take up to 72 hours for the plan to take effect.

Internet service will maintain a speed of 5 Mbps so you can keep alarm systems, cameras, or connected homes active.

Phone service will remain operational for alarm systems and outbound calls to 911, 0, 611, and Atlantic Broadband's Customer Service (888-536-9600). Inbound calls are disabled unless a call to 911 was made within the last 2 hours.

TV services will be suspended. Previously downloaded content will still be available but remote scheduling of recordings is not possible. For TiVo customers, equipment will show as suspended. TiVo boxes in this state retain their settings but will not record shows. If you attempt to record during this time you will get the message: “You are not authorized to view this channel”. Away from the home app functions will remain as they normally are. Guide data will disappear after 14 days.
