Follow these simple steps to get connected.
Locate cable wall outlet (coaxial) in a central location. It will look like this:
Connect the coaxial cord from the wall to the modem A (insert into connector and turn barrel to tighten).
Connect power cord from modem B to the wall outlet. The modem will update once powered on. The process may take 5-10 minutes. When the lights in the front of the modem are glowing steady, it’s ready to use.
Using the Ethernet cord provided, connect your wired device to the back of the modem C.
Self-installation allows you to order your internet service and hook it up yourself with a self-installation kit. It gives you flexibility to do it on your own time at no additional cost. All of the equipment, cords, and instructions are included in the self-installation kit.
First, we’ll drop off or ship you a self-installation kit and send you an email with order confirmation and package tracking information. You should expect to receive the self-installation kit within 3-5 days, and it will have everything you’ll need to get your internet service up-and-running.
The self-installation kit includes a new modem, power cord, coaxial cable, and instructions to help you do the installation. There is even an Ethernet cord in case you have a device that needs to be wired directly to the modem.
Simply follow the instructions included in the self-installation kit. Connect the coaxial cable from the wall to the modem, then connect the power cord to the modem and plug in. Your modem will power up and set itself up automatically. When the set-up process is complete, there will be solid lights on the front. Then you can connect your wired devices via ethernet cord(s).
Any device with an ethernet port, like a computer or gaming console may be connect directly to the modem with an Ethernet cord. One cord is provided in self-installation kits.
Make sure that the cords are tightly attached to the modem and plugged into the wall. If it still does not power on, try a different outlet.
Try unplugging your modem from the power outlet for 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Once it reboots, if you still cannot connect, please call 1-844-579-0697 for assistance.
The billing cycle automatically starts within 10 days of your order online, so if you run into any problems completing your installation, it is very important to call in for support at 1-844-579-0697 immediately. Promotional periods will be reflected on the billing statement.
