Atlantic Broadband Internet Assist

In direct response to the COVID-19 situation and the increased need to connect to work and/or school from home, Atlantic Broadband is offering a 15 Mbps downstream / 1 Mbps upstream internet speed tier to those who live in Atlantic Broadband’s serviceable area, do not currently have Atlantic Broadband internet service in their home, and meet specific need-based qualifications.

How To Apply?

Potential customers who are in the following programs can apply for Internet Assist. Please fill out the online form to proceed.
  • Medicaid
  • Public Housing Assistance
  • SNAP
  • NSLP
  • LIHEAP
  • WIC

If you meet the qualifications listed below, you qualify to receive Internet Assist

1.  Potential customer lives in an ABB Internet service area
2.  Potential customer is not an existing ABB internet customer or subscribed as a customer in the last 120 days
3.  Potential customer has no debt with ABB less than 12 months old, longer debt customers apply direct via ABB customer service
4.  Potential customers are eligible for selected public assistance programs below:
  • Medicaid
  • Public Housing Assistance
  • SNAP
  • NSLP
  • LIHEAP
  • WIC

To prepare for our call, please have your Government Assistance Program proof handy so we can review it together. Thank you for your interest.

Atlantic Broadband Internet AssistServices subject to availability. Internet Assist product may be discontinued at any time in Atlantic Broadband’s sole discretion with or without notice to customers. Only available to residential customers who meet all of the following qualifications: residential customers who 1) do not currently subscribe to an Atlantic Broadband Internet Service and who have not subscribed to Atlantic Broadband Internet Service in the last one hundred and twenty (120) days; 2) do not have any past due balances with Atlantic Broadband; 3) have not been disconnected from any Atlantic Broadband service within the last twelve (12) months due to non-payment; and 4) are eligible for any of the following public assistance programs: National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Public Housing Assistance, Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), and/or Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Customers will be required to provide proof of eligibility subject to the review and discretion of Atlantic Broadband. Internet Assist product includes 15 Mbps download and 1Mbps upload speed Internet service. Additional services, receivers, equipment, installation fees, taxes, fees and other surcharges may not be included, such as the High Speed Network Recovery Fee currently at $4.25, and may be subject to increases. Credit check and/or deposit may be required. Speeds are stated for download and upload only over wired connections.
