Test and Activation (TAC) Analyst

The Test and Activation (TAC) Analyst is responsible for assisting and educating inter-departmental staff with order processing/telephony changes; working with 3rd party vendors to escalate and ensure prompt resolution to any customer impacting porting, provisioning and switch related events up to and including carrier outages; performing telephony diagnostics for single customer troubles via integrated tools and act on results to reduce MTR (mean time to repair); monitoring orders for all hosted and ported telephone numbers through web-based applications; reporting errors or issues appropriately to fix agents and/or Service Activation Analyst; monitoring and escalating service degraded events to Network Operations Center according to business rules; managing and resolving Local Number Portability fallout report between ABBt and third party providers; assisting field personnel with telco port activations and/or conflicts on a daily basis; and other duties as assigned.
